The Eagle Landing Homeowners’ Association, a community managed by Leland Management, has donated a new golf cart to the Clay County Sheriff’s office last week. The sheriff’s office is pleased to accept the golf cart which they will use to support volunteer patrols for the Oak Leaf Plantation.
Currently the sheriff’s department has eight golf carts throughout the county (all have been donated by local businesses and homeowners associations) that are used to provide a level of presence that has a proven track record in stopping vandalism and slowing speeding cars. Another bonus is the savings in gas costs that these electric vehicles provide.
Thanks to the Eagle Landing Homeowner’s Association for helping out with this great program.
