Leland Management is pleased to announce that Association Manager, Chad Peck, has been named one of ten finalists for the Manager of the Year Award. Chad, who has been working for Leland Management for over 4 years, is the onsite manager at Stonecrest, an active 55 + community with over 1880 homes located in Summerfield, FL.
It is not surprising that Chad has made it this far in this national competition. Since taking over at Stonecrest a little over a year ago he has made tremendous strides for the community; building relationships, enhancing communications and revamping the budget. Chad’s dedication to his role as manager and the community of Stonecrest is commendable. Martha Ledford, Director for the Ocala Division, attributes Chad’s success to hard work, continuing education, and dedication. “Chad is a key member of our team, always displaying a positive attitude, a high level of professionalism and a willingness to accept multiple responsibilities. It has been a pleasure to watch the growth and development of Chad over the years. He has been instrumental in developing strong partnerships in Stonecrest that have helped the community reach great accomplishments. I look forward to his continued success and growth.”
This is the inaugural year for the Manager of the Year contest which is open to all professional community managers across the nation who is actively engaged in managing association-governed communities. There are three phases to the application process, an online application which chooses 100 finalists; the second phase is the photo essay submission of which 10 managers will be selected. The final stage of selection will consist of judging by a panel to narrow it down to the top three, then online voting and interviews to determine the winner. The winner will be announced at the CAI National Conference in April. Please join Leland Management in congratulating Chad and wishing him the best of luck in the final phases of the competition.
